Boh is a caveman child too smart for his time. He is separated from his family in an earthquake, forcing him to use his genius to reunite with them. Meanwhile, in a thunderstorm, a magical being called Nuva comes to life. Nuva tries to befriend Boh by helping him with his inventions, but her clumsiness makes everything turn out in a disaster.
